northcarolina_asheville_bonsaiThe Carolina Bonsai Expo features the juried work of bonsai enthusiasts from bonsai clubs in a six-state region of the United States.

This year’s expo, set for October 11 and 12, 2014, in the North Carolina Arboretum in Bent Creek Experimental Forest, 100 Frederick Law Olmsted Way, Asheville, North Carolina.

Look for free educational programming, workshops, a bonsai marketplace featuring plants, pots, tools and books for sale, ikebana displays and a live auction of bonsai and bonsai-related items.

The N.C. Arboretum features a bonsai collection with more than 100 display-quality specimens in a garden setting.
