Following in the Bartrams’ Footsteps

james-rose-marie_ipomoea purpureaFollowing in the Bartrams’ Footsteps” is a traveling exhibition sponsored by the American Society of Botanical Artists.

It’ll be on display at the North Carolina Botanical Garden at the he University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill August 30 through November 2, 2014. It then moves to the University of California Botanical Garden at Berkeley, 200 Centennial Drive,
Berkeley, California, opening in December and running through February 2015.

The exhibition features 44 artworks of plants grown, sold, and introduced by John and William Bartram, centered upon their native United States plant introductions.
