Wooden Shoe Tulip Fest

oregon_woodburn_tulip2If you’re anywhere in the Pacific Northwest this spring, be sure to add the Tulip Fest to your itinerary.

It takes place at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, 33814 South Meridian Road, Woodburn, Oregon (map) between March 30, 2013, and May 5, 2013.

This annual fest promises more than 40 acres of tulips and daffodils. You can stroll through the fields, then buy cut flowers and order bulbs for fall planting. Every year the varieties are arranged differently in a new pattern of color as the tulip fields are rotated.

Admission charge is by the carload, and you can buy a season pass if you’ll be passing through more than once.
