bougainvilleaSince bougainvillea is your Road Trips Gardener‘s favorite flower, it’ll turn up often in this Saturday compilation.

These stunningly, shockingly, Schiaparelli hot pink bougainvillea blooms were snapped at Dennis’ Restaurant on the Caribbean island of Antigua.

Yeah, we all know that the actual flowers are those tiny white blossoms, but with such extravagantly colored leaves, one just has to refer to the whole efflorescence as the bloom.
