Illinois African Violet Society Show & Sale

Seven African Violet societies in the state of Illinois will stage their annual show and sale July 28 and 29, 2012, in the Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Shore Drive, Glencoe, Illinois (map).
Hours are noon to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Experts will be available to answer questions about African violets and other gesneriads and provide insight into this wide-ranging family of indoor plants.
