Flower of the Day: Wildflowers

Your Road Trips Gardener confesses that she doesn’t know what these flowers are called.
Can anyone identify these brilliant pink blooms? They were resplendent on a warm September afternoon with eight petals surrounding a yellow center.
The flowers were captured by the camera along a roadside in Garni, Armenia (map).
