Flower of the Day: Chrysanthemum

The chrysanthemum is the classic flower of autumn, in North America and elsewhere in the world.

Our photographer snapped these scarlet red mums in the park alongside West Lake in Hangzhou, China, this afternoon (yes, it’s already Sunday evening on that side of the world).
