“Flower” of the Day: Ornamental Peppers

On a stroll through Bellingham, Washington, last week, our photographer was distracted from the drizzly overcast weather of the Pacific Northwest by the brilliant hues of a potted plant outside a florist’s shop.
Ornamental peppers are a great way to brighten a dismal fall day, no matter what part of the country you live in.
