Three clubs within the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania have flower shows scheduled in August.

he Hazleton Area Garden Club presents a Standard Flower Show, “Flora and Fauna”, August 10 and 11, 2011, in Faith United Church of Christ, 21 Faith Drive, Hazle Township, Pennsylvania. Admission is $5. Hours are 3-8 p.m. August 10 and 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on August 11.

The Trevose Horticultural Society sponsors the annual Standard Flower Show, “Music My Way”, on August 26 and 27, 2011. Hours are 4-9 p.m. August 26 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. August 27 in the Wood River Village Auditorium, Hulmeville Road and Bensalem Boulevard, Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Admission is free.

August 27, 2011–The Garden Club of McKeesport presents a Standard Flower Show, “Let’s Celebrate”, from 1:30-7 p.m. August 27, 2011, in the McKeesport Heritage Center, 1832 Arboretum Drive, McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Admission is free.

The GCFP, representing about 6000 gardeners, is a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., the largest volunteer gardening organization in the world.
