Road Trips Gardeners who favor gardens with walls should add Glenarm Castle, 2 Castle Lane, Glenarm, Ballymena, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, to their travel plans.

The Walled Garden is one of Ireland’s oldest walled gardens, originally created to supply the Castle with its fruit and vegetables.

For 400 years the family home of the Earls of Antrim, this garden is open to visitors from May through September. Hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily (Sundays noon to 6 p.m. Garden admission is £5 for adults.
