Spring Bulb Show at Smith College

The Spring Bulb Show takes place in the Lyman Conservatory at Smith College, Northampton, Massachusetts from March 5 through March 20, 2011.

The conservatory, totalling 12,000 square feet, is composed of various glasshouses dating from 1895, 1901, 1952 and 1981. The average temperature varies by house, with a minimum of 50°F (10°C) in the coolest and a summer maximum of over 100°F (38°C) in all greenhouses, even with shading and hosing down!
