Chrysanthemum Show in Omaha

The Fall Chrysanthemum Show is open through November 21, 2010, in the Lauritzen Gardens, Omaha’s Botanical Center. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The visitor and education center’s indoor floral display is festooned in autumn colors during this Japanese-inspired show. The beauty of autumn is on display through brightly colored chrysanthemums, Japanese maples, Japanese water features and the textures and autumn-rich colors of trees and shrubs.

New this year are large-scale chrysanthemum baskets. Japanese elements include koinobori, bamboo, Zen garden influences,water features and a sand garden.

Standard garden admission rates apply. The gardens are located at 100 Bancroft Street, Omaha, Nebraska.
