Orchids, bromeliads, gingers, heliconias and many other tropical plants will be on display June 26-27, 2010, at the Northern Territory’s 19th Orchid Spectacular in Marrara Indoor Stadium, Alaba Road, Marrara, Darwin, Australia. The orchid competition includes more than 60 categories to be judged. There’ll be demonstrations on the potting and care of orchids and bromiliads.

In addition to the actual plants, there’s also a photography exhibition, preserving the flowers at a moment in time. And, since this is part of the British Commonwealth, refreshments available include not only wine but Devonshire cream tea!
