123 Farm, Cherry Valley, CaliforniaThe sixth annual Lavender Festival will be held June 19 and 20, 2010, at 123 Farm, 10600 Highland Springs Avenue, Cherry Valley, California.

Among the events Saturday (June 19) are a presentation on “water-wise” gardening and another on how to distill essential oils from lavender and other herbs for aromatherapy. On Sunday (June 20), John Newsom will discuss how honey is made and the techniques of good beekeeping.

And, a bonus for those of us Road Trips Gardeners who love iris: the Inland Empire Iris Society is one of the vendors and exhibitors.
